General Description
The restroom at the turn around at the east end of Lakeshore Drive will be relocated closer to the end of the turnaround and incorporated into a trailhead/overlook platform that provides orientation for users at the south‐eastern end of the day use area. This arrangement provides for ADA access to the day use area north‐west of this location and also acts as a trailhead for the Fishing Platform and the National Recreation Trail, creating a central location for information kiosks, trash and recycling receptacles and interpretive signage.
The configuration of the parking and turnaround stays similar to existing with some small modifications to improve accessibility and trail connections.
