Parking Lot Updates

Feb. 14 2018: K.W. Emerson is going to begin work this week on culvert replacement and drainage ditch construction on the project. This work will affect traffic flow on Lakeshore Avenue (boat ramp access), Pinecrest Avenue (between PLR and Lot 2, snack shack lot), and access to the “J” Lot off of Pinecrest Lake Road. Traffic control will be in place and alternative routes are available. Additional work preparing Lakeshore Avenue may also begin this week. Weather permitting, work will begin next week on stump removal and parking areas on Lakeshore Drive east of the intersection with Rustic Road along with importing fill material for the expansion of the “J” Lot into the former long term boat trailer parking area. Construction of the new long term boat trailer parking near the Pinecrest Waste Transfer Station was completed in January with the exception of installation of signage. The long term schedule is to complete the reconstruction of Lot 2, the “J” Lot, Lakeshore Avenue, the Long Term Boat Trailer Parking Lot, and Lot 8 (across from the Pinecrest Campground Entrance) before Memorial Day. Construction of the traffic circle at Rustic Road and Lakeshore Drive along with repaving on Pinecrest Lake Road, Lakeshore Drive, and Pinecrest Avenue are planned to begin after Labor Day.
