Beginning November 8, 2021, PG&E will start replacing the existing low-level outlet (LLO) conduit run between the control building and the LLO building. Both buildings and the conduit route are on the downstream side of the dam below the dam crest.
Due to the remote location of the work area, tools and materials will be transported by helicopter to the conduit replacement work area. Material staging areas, construction access routes, and the helicopter landing zone will be located south of the dam.
This work will take place between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, until mid-December 2021 (weather permitting).
Stay Safe and Avoid Strawberry Dam if Possible
Public access across the dam is allowed (unless you are stopped by a crew member), but please use caution and stay back at least 300 feet when a helicopter is in use.
