Contractor Opportunities for Recreation Improvement Construction at Pinecrest Lake

Thank you for your interest in providing services for the construction of recreation improvements at Pinecrest Lake.

Pinecrest Lake and all recreational facilities are located on public land within the Stanislaus National Forest managed by the US Forest Service Summit Ranger District (STF). STF will award and manage the construction of the recreational improvements planned for Pinecrest Lake. To minimize impact of construction on summer recreation activities, construction is planned to occur annually during the months of September through May, specifically after Labor Day weekend and before Memorial Day weekend.

To learn more download the US Forest Service brochure on contracting requirements. Please also visit for more information on federal requirements for contractors interested in bidding on or participating in the construction of the Pinecrest Lake recreation improvements. All current and potential government contractors are required to enroll in Central Contractor Registration to be awarded contracts by any federal government agency. Click here to enroll in the Central Contractor Registration. This website will list contracting opportunities and contracts awarded as they become available.

For more details and descriptions of the recreational improvements planned for 2012 to 2017 construction, visit our Recreation Improvements page.
